Energy, Illness and Meditation
Several months ago, I took a six week meditation course where we learned how to identify energies in the body, those that belonged and those that did not, and how to release them. I was very interested in learning more about how to manipulate energy and this course came up at the right time to start me down this particular path of exploration.
While doing the course, I also scheduled several sessions with the course teacher, who is an energy healer. Together, we released ancestral energy, past life energy as well as emotions and energy from my current life. The combination of the course and these healing sessions resulted in massive energetic shifts in my life. I noticed shifts in how I feel, shifts in what emotions I am carrying in my body, and even shifts about where I physically was in this 3D reality! Furthermore, I opened up further and am able to find and release energies that do not belong in my energetic field by myself. Working with energy is truly powerful.
As I worked further and further into this course, I began to wonder about the interplay between illness, specifically chronic illness, and energy. Quickly, I formulated the idea–or, perhaps more accurately, had the epiphany–that illness does not exist in the way that we think of it. Illness is a construct, a name that humans have given to blockages of low vibration energy. The low vibration energy is made up of experiences, trauma, emotions, either from this life, another life or from ancestors. It gets clogged in the body and prevents high vibration energy from flowing freely, which then manifests into the physical symptoms that we have termed “illness”. Perhaps this illness is Lyme disease or cancer or mental illness or something else. The name doesn’t matter because all it is, is energy that can be released.
If illness is a blockage of low vibration energy, and if we have the ability to clear energy from our bodies if we only learn how, then recovering from illness is within the grasp of every sick person. This is an empowering thought and belief.
I reached out to a trusted mentor and told her what I had discovered for myself. She suggested that I read some of the books by Dr. Joe Dispenza, so I picked up his book, “Becoming Supernatural.” In this book, Dr. Dispenza discusses the concept that illness is a manifestation of energy. I highly recommend the book, although I haven’t quite finished it yet myself, it has been highly expansive in terms of re-conceptualizing illness for me.
So, if illness if energy, energy that we can clear, how does one begin to clear energy that might be causing illness from their body? Well, my first piece of advice would be to find an energy healer you can work with. This is key, I believe, because it takes years to develop the fine-tuned senses and ability to clear energy. Next, I recommend meditation. Meditation is one of my favorite things. I started meditating over a year ago and my practice has gone from 5 minutes a day to over an hour a day when I have the time. It is incredibly powerful. My favorite meditations to do for healing are hypnosis meditations, meditating to chakra opening music and binaural beats, listening to some of Joe Dispenza’s meditations–I highly recommend “You are the Placebo”–and practicing grounding and releasing energies into Mother Earth. You can find many meditations on YouTube, which is a wonderful resource. I also love the Calm app for meditation music and guided meditations.
For today, I am going to leave you here with the concept of illness as releasable energy and meditation as a tool to facilitate healing. I will be returning to this topic in much more depth in future posts, as I have only scratched the surface of my ideas and all the ideas about this out in the wellness world. I hope that this idea makes you feel POWERFUL. It has completely changed how I think about illness and made me feel very in control of my health. Happy healing to you!
P.S. I do not want to discount the work or necessity of doctors in the healing journey. Your doctors are an integral part of your health team. Energy work and meditation are important parts to supplement and aid you in your healing.
