Step into your womb

And unlock your power

Sacred Sexuality is your power.

How you own, embody, and express the sacred life force (aka sexual) energy that lives in your womb is how you own, embody, and express your power.

Keep reading for a glimpse into the teaching about the interplay between power + sexuality that I share in my Sacred Sexuality course:

It’s become a relatively common figure of speech to say “stop giving your power away” or “I’ve got to take my power back from xyz thing”.

And I’ve said these things myself MANY times. Most often, I have used the phrase “call your power back” to remind clients that they do not have to give their energy to situations they don’t want to be in.

In those cases, this phrase is useful.

When we talk about the womb and our sexual energy, it is not.

Because when we apply the idea of giving your power away or having it taken away to the womb, it just doesn’t hold up.

Here’s why:

Your womb is the seat of your life force energy.

Your True, Deep, Life force energy cannot be taken away from you.

Because that energy is what animates your body. It’s what keeps your heart beating, your voice speaking, your womb pulsing, your soul creating here on earth.

That energy, the core of who you are, cannot be taken from you.

If you’re alive, you’ve got all of your life force, womb, and sexual energy.

Which means we’ve got to stop saying anything can take our power away.

Because the only power that you hold that could possibly be “taken away” from you is your ego power.

Your ego identities.

The parts of yourself you may think are truth but are really your ego playing dress up.

So how does this relate to sexuality?

Sexuality is your power.

Women often have experiences where their sexuality is used, extorted, threatened, or something similar. Which leads to a feeling of your power being taken from you. And that feeling is very valid - it really does feel like that. But that’s not what is really happening.

Stay with me, because this is where it gets good.

What if the reframe to TRUTH is this: that your power, your sexuality, is indisputably yours and your power cannot be taken from you?

What if the Truth is that perhaps you locked up parts of your sexual power after difficult/traumatizing experiences? And locking up your power is an unconscious protective mechanism, so you don’t even realize that’s what has happened.

But no one actually took your power or your sexuality from you.

Because they can’t. It’s impossible. Because you’re alive. And that’s your life force.

So that means that the journey of sacred sexuality and reclaiming your womb power is led by reconnection to and unlocking of parts of yourself that were locked up to protect you.

And the permission slip here is to take back the knowledge that your power is right inside you.

There’s no one who has taken it from you. It’s all yours.

Okay, two more things to address.

First: let’s circle back to the ego power part. We all walk around with ego projections that can and will be struck down by other people around us from time to time. While these experiences are painful, they serve as teaching experiences for us. And we can learn to see them that way when we understand that we didn’t lose our power - we lost the illusion of an outdated, ill-fitting ego identity.

Second, how did I even come to this teaching?

Simply through lots of trial, error, and learning.

I reclaimed my sacred sexual energy when I stopped trying to reclaim my sexual power from times and places I’d been hurt or exploited.

When I accepted that my sexuality is my life force energy, I also accepted that it was always inside me.

And then my healing and reclamation was profound.

Reclaim your sexual power by owning that you are in relationship with womb + vulva + feminine every day in all ways.

Denying your sexuality is denying your most innate power.

Your innate power comes from your womb + sexuality. This cannot be given away. As soon as you remember that truth, you unlock your power.
